C1 cumulative diagnosis and revision

Combine advanced grammar choices and develop a repeatable self-correction process.

The rule

Recover the intended meaning first. Then check roles, time, mood, voice, word order, agreement and punctuation; fix a grammatical form without changing the claim.

meaning → roles → time / mood / voice → fields → case / agreement → punctuation

First recover the intended meaning: who acts, what is affected, when the event occurs and whose claim it is.

Choose tense, mood, modality and voice together; changing one may require restructuring the full verb chain.

Mark clause fields and boundaries, then inspect complements, article and adjective endings, pronouns and noun inflection.
