The rule
Keep time, responsibility and next steps clear in a project update. Choose passive, reporting and condition structures for their meaning, then check reference and word order.

A coherent project update identifies completed work, remaining tasks, responsibility and next steps with consistent time reference.
Use passive when the process matters and active voice when responsibility must be explicit. Preserve lexical case frames.
Distinguish evidence, reported claims and your own inference; do not silently turn one into another.

Gerundive klären takes plural ending -en after die.

The separate infinitive clause uses zu verschieben.

Plural hypothetical wir takes könnten.
Incorrect: Die Datei muss bereits gesichert worden haben.

Past passive inference uses gesichert worden sein.

Use causal, conditional and concessive connectors according to their actual relationship, rather than for variety alone.
